Outstanding Day Nursery and Preschool in Surrey Borders
Our Outstanding Busy Bees at Cheam Day Nursery and Preschool enjoys a secure location, tucked away off Ewell Road in the same gated grounds as NonSuch High School for Girls and David Lloyd Health Club, Cheam.
Our passionate and highly qualified childcare team creates a truly home from home learning environment for children aged 12 weeks up to the age of 5.
In the heart of Cheam Village, Busy Bees at Cheam Day Nursery is within walking distance of Cheam Railway station with regular routes to London Victoria and London Bridge. We also enjoy private parking for easy, convenient drop-off and pick-up.
Cheam’s First Choice For Nursery Education
An idyllic location, fabulous outdoor spaces, and a passionate and highly qualified team are just a few of the reasons that parents choose Busys Bees at Cheam Day Nursery and Preschool over other childcare settings.
Children at Treetops Cheam are cared for in a beautiful purpose-built building on one level. Refurbished in 2014, we have 4 separate age-dependent rooms and a curriculum devised in line with the EYFS statutory framework. Our rooms are bright and airy and enjoy a cosy home-from-home feel, designed to settle and relax babies and children into the nursery environment.
Our passionate childcare team delivers a programme of stimulating and exciting activities and experiences to navigate children through key childhood milestones. From arts and crafts, messy play and sensory play to home corner and role play there’s lots to do to challenge enquiring minds.
Though fun is the order of the day every day we begin to gently introduce more structure in our preschool rooms and deliver the foundations you’d expect for lifelong learning – phonics, literacy and elemental mathematics plus key social skills to help your little ones become confident and independent.
Outstanding Preschool Education
After safety and security, education is usually high on parents’ priority lists when it comes to choosing a nursery school. Busy Bees at Cheam is proud to have a team of highly-trained and educated staff well-placed to maximise the potential of every child and prepare them for ‘big school’. That’s why we are a sought –after preschool in the Surrey borders.
Among the team we have a full-time qualified preschool teacher and a manager with a degree in Early Years Education. Our team is committed to their own continuous professional development and we have 3 other staff currently studying for Foundation Degree qualifications in Early Years Education.
Links with Local Schools
Our preschool children typically go on to neighbouring schools including St Dunstan’s Cheam CE Primary School, Cuddington Croft Primary School, Sutton, Cheam Park Farm Primary Academy, Sutton and Cheam Fields Primary School.

What our customers say…
From the moment I walked into the nursery for my show around I knew that it was the nursery for us, everyone was friendly and welcoming and from the moments that I saw on our walk around I could see how loving and nurturing the staff were to the children within their nursery and how they tried to make us feel at ease in every room we walked into
They care for the children like they are their own, which is a great comfort. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery
Management and staff have gone above and beyond to make sure my daughter has settled in well, asking lots of details about our routine, my daughter's likes and dislikes and a bit about our background. This for me made me feel at ease that they were really getting to know everything about her, they have also kept me up to date regularly to ensure that the process for me has been a stress-free and easy one
Staff are reflective when they evaluate the strengths and weaknesses in their teaching. Most are able to accurately assess the effect of their teaching on children's development
Leaders are dedicated in their drive to secure sustained high-quality improvements. They are ambitious for children and are focused on improving standards for all
