At Montessori by Busy Bees North Chiswick, our Montessori Bee Curious Curriculum brings together the principles of Montessori education with the curiosity-led approach of Bee Curious. We encourage children to become active participants in their own learning, giving them the freedom to explore, investigate and discover new things for themselves.

Our Montessori environments are carefully prepared with purposeful Montessori materials that encourage children to develop practical life skills, concentration, coordination and independence. Rather than simply being shown how something works, children are encouraged to learn through doing, making choices and solving problems independently. This helps to build confidence and creates a positive foundation for lifelong learning.

The Montessori Bee Curious Curriculum also encourages children to follow their natural curiosity. Through imaginative play, sensory experiences and hands-on activities, children can explore their interests while developing important skills across all areas of their development. Whether they're learning where fruit and vegetables come from, practising writing and drawing or developing their fine motor skills, every experience provides an opportunity to learn and discover.

Our approach gives children freedom within a carefully prepared and supervised environment, allowing them to develop at a pace that suits them while our experienced team provides gentle guidance when needed. This balance of independence and support helps children become confident, capable learners who are excited to discover the world around them.

Our West London nursery is conveniently located for families travelling by public transport. Turnham Green Underground Station is just a short distance away and is served by the District and Piccadilly lines. For families travelling on foot, our convenient buggy store provides a safe place to leave your buggy during the day, making drop-offs and collections simple and stress-free.

Siobhian Copeland - White

Hello my name is Siobhian and I have been working in childcare for nearly 10 years working my way up from an unqualified practitioner to now a Centre Director.

I started my Busy Bees journey in 2018 as a room manager for baby room and then the toddler room and in 2019 I became an Assistant Centre director and held that post for 4 years.

I am very child centred and believe every child is an individual and it is our job as educators to help their personalities, thrive by offering a vast range of experiences and enabling environments throughout their journey at the centres with us. I am very passionate about developing children's emotional literacy and think one of the most important things we can teach children is to identify and manage their feelings and expectations.

I like supporting my staff to understand how to deliver exceptional childcare daily and giving each child the best start in life by reminding everyone that you are never too old to learn something new or refresh what you already know. I also believe that parent partnerships form a key part in ensuring children thrive and develop.

Yesterday was my daughter’s last day at nursery and I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at Busy Bees ❤️ The last two years have been absolutely amazing. When my daughter was finding it hard to settle, everyone was so patient and supportive, and always there for me as well whenever I was having a difficult moment. I used to stay outside crying and everyone used to comfort me with nice words.I really appreciate all the help, understanding and kindness you showed us. A special thank you to Miss Siobhian for everything you’ve done for my daughter and for always supporting us. And of course, Miss Ikram, my daughter’s favourite teacher ❤️ at home she keeps telling us how much she loves you, She loves you so much and we will definitely miss you! Thank you to the whole team for looking after my daughter, helping her grow and making her time at nursery so special. If I had to do it all again, I would still choose Busy Bees without a doubt. ❤️ We will miss you all so much!
