My name is Gemma and I am the Centre Director at Busy Bees Norwich Thorpe. I started working at the nursery in April 2007 as a nursery nurse and progressed in my career throughout the nursery and was honoured to become Centre Director in January 2011. I have gained my Level 3 childcare qualification and also my Level 3 leadership and management qualification. I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead practitioner of the nursery and SENCO trained. My team strieve to give the best start in life and this was proven with our Outstanding Ofsted grade in November 2022.  I have been married to my husband, Alex, since 2009 and our twins, Alfie and Ella, were born in 2016. Alfie and Ella joined me at nursery from 9 months old until they went off to school. As a family we love walking our dog along the beach and spending time together.
