Hello, I’m Sarah I’m the Centre Director at Busy Bees Norwich Hospital. In 2007 I qualified as a teacher. I have taught in both primary and nursery schools across the age ranges 2-8 years. Along with this, I have also completed my SENCO qualification and I took on this role in my previous setting. I am also a qualified Forest School leader. Alongside my teaching roles, I have also spent a number of years as the Early Years Leader, and the English, Communication and Language and Phonics subject leader across the settings I have worked.
I am truly passionate about the Early Years, and I believe that the ages 0-5 are such an important age range. We all know how quickly young children learn, which is amazing when you consider the challenges that they also face. Our children are no exception – they have been through a lot in the last few years! However, the amazing work that takes place in these formative years plays such a vital role in supporting children’s educational and emotional development and we need to celebrate this.
For me, the Centre Director position offers new and exciting challenges that I am eager to pursue. I have a good array of experience in managing staff and leading change across settings, and I am ecstatic to be a part of leading this nursery. I have already observed that I will be dealing with a passionate and enthusiastic group of people as my colleagues.
We love to hear from skilled, ambitious people who can help us give children the best start in life.
