Our mission is to spark your little one’s imagination and nurture their development into a strong, independent learner through structured activities revolving around our expert-designed Bee Curious curriculum.  

Whether they’re discovering the world through role play or getting a spot of sensory engagement in our indoor sandpit, your little one will always be occupied with something that supports their development.  

Busy Bees Portishead is overseen by Centre Director Georgia Ware, who uses her childcare experience to cultivate a safe, nurturing space for your little one.

Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 9 months to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Busy Bees in Portishead

Here, at our Busy Bees Portishead nursery, we'll provide your child with regular snacks, drinks, and meals throughout the time they spend with us. There's no extra cost involved - it's all included in your fees. 

We know how challenging it can sometimes be to get little ones to eat healthy foods and try new dishes. Our team has worked hard to create recipes and menus to give your children all the nutrition they need to grow. This NHS Startwell-accredited menu provides plenty of variety and lots of delicious dishes for kids to enjoy. 

All food and drink is freshly prepared for the children each day by our on-site nursery chef. Does your child have allergies or specific dietary requirements? There's no need to worry - we can account for any needs. Simply speak to your Centre Director.

Our Fees

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child. In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Portishead are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.
