Nursery in Quedgeley

I can see why this was one of the only nurseries in the area with spaces available, pretty much always. My daughter went here for around 18 months. Cried at every drop off. Never had one incident reported, even when she came home with a bruise on her face they basically said it didn't happen here when it certainly hadn't happened at home. 18 months without one incident at all seems a bit unrealistic. Not only that but they didn't help my daughter with potty training and said children in nappies take priority. Not sure on the logic here. Other than Kat, Anna Marie and Tash, I didn't think much of the staff. Management were borderline rude, unapproachable and defensive. I received 0 updates when my daughter started, she was so young at that point, I spent the 5 hours worrying about her. Kids left in cots constantly crying themselves to sleep. No special activities, visits, days out. Everything is bare minimum. Still waiting to hear back from a complaint made in October.

Absolutely amazing experience with my young child. Generally is thrilled to see her ladies when we come in on a morning. Makes the whole thing so much easier to know she’s being treated so well, she’s excited to come every morning. The staff are amazing!! Couldn’t be happier

Amazing absolutely a great place the staff are very supportive and very person centred towards my child and Chloe she’s an absolute star my child loves it there

The staff are lovely and the facilities is clean and big enough for children to explore!

Staff are attentive and dedicated, always ensure children are happy. You know you leave your little one in good hands. From food to activities, through learning and fun, all is great.

If you make a mistake and overpay via childcare sign-in it might take 2-3 months to get refund

Had high hopes for this nursery but ended up pulling my son out on his 2nd settling in session, after seeing how they care for the children, it isn't so great! The rooms are also dull and nothing like the photos. Staff didn't interact with my son at all plus other issues we seen regarding my son and other children. Majority of the children there were crying and not being consoled at all. This was very upsetting to see. We complained to the area manager and she basically implied we were lying and refused to give our deposit back (because she didn't want to, we were told) and then a few days later, we were told any money we paid for the 2 sessions he never actually attended wasn't going to be refunded either! Absolute shambles of a nursery, Take your children elsewhere! Management are liars and just tell you what you want to hear, it's all about money to them. I can now see why they had spaces available compared to any other nursery around. We would never recommend this nursery to anyone.

It's been a great experience with busy bees nursery from 2023 November to present.
