What
Rainham
parents say

We cannot speak highly enough of Rainham Busy Bees and the care, learning and sense of community it provides. Working in education and social care ourselves, we probably notice the little things as much as the big ones – and what stands out most is how genuinely cared for, included and engaged the children are. Staff are always happy to see them, know them as individuals and clearly take real pride in helping them develop. Our child regularly comes home absolutely exhausted but very happy, which we think is one of the best signs of a day filled with play, learning, friendships and new experiences! The learning opportunities are excellent. Children are supported with their developmental milestones while also being appropriately stretched and challenged when they are ready for more. Creativity and music are nurtured alongside a wide variety of activities and experiences, and there is a real emphasis on inclusion. It feels like a setting where every child and every family is welcomed and valued. Communication is outstanding. We receive excellent updates through the app, and important information is consistently passed between staff and communicated to us. We feel well informed about what our child has been doing, learning and experiencing, rather than nursery feeling like a part of their day that we don’t get to see. We have also really appreciated the support beyond day-to-day childcare. Transitions and milestones are handled thoughtfully, and practical resources and guidance are available for families when needed, including things such as potty training. There is a genuine sense that the nursery wants to work alongside parents/carers rather than simply provide childcare. The resources and activities are varied and engaging, and we particularly love the opportunities for creativity, music and exploration as our little one is a real character. Just as importantly, Rainham Busy Bees creates a wonderful community around the children. Events such as the summer fair give families opportunities to be involved and help make nursery feel like a community that our children belong to rather than simply somewhere they attend. Care, cleanliness and safeguarding are clearly taken seriously, and we have always felt confident leaving our child in the nursery’s care. The environment feels well managed and organised while remaining warm and child-centred. The food deserves a special mention too – our child genuinely seems to eat better at nursery than we do at home! We love the variety and the focus on providing children with nutritious meals and introducing them to different foods. Ultimately, what matters most to us is that our child is safe, happy, known, cared for and learning. Rainham Busy Bees delivers all of those things while also giving children experiences, friendships and a wider community. For the quality of the care, learning, resources, food, activities and communication provided, we feel it represents excellent value for money. We are incredibly grateful to the whole team for the energy, care and enthusiasm they put into creating such a positive environment for children and families. We would wholeheartedly recommend Rainham Busy Bees to other families looking for a nursery where their child can feel secure, included, challenged and genuinely excited to attend.

My daughter attends the nursery shes been there since baby room and now is in preschool where she is thriving and absolutely love it. She comes home excited to tell us about her day and she has formed amazing friendships with staff and other children. The staff are welcoming and friendly and always go above and beyond to help and support us especially with her communication skills and potty training.

Rainham Busy Bees is simply FANTASTIC!!!! I can not praise them enough. I was a very nervous mum dropping off my 15 month old baby for the first time in September and thanks to the lovely staff I am now very happy and confident to leave him for the day. In fact I feel guilty not taking him in he loves it that much. This is down to the Staff. Whilst all the staff are amazing my LO key staff member is simply superb. My son loves her. The centre director is fantastic - I have never meet someone so dedicated and happy to go out of her way to help resolve issues. I feel extremely lucky to have my LO at this nursery.
