Since working at Derby Silvertrees from 2014,  I have worked in different roles starting as a relief member of the team, room leader, senior and deputy and proudly in 2020 took on the role of centre director.

I have a little boy who attends Derby Silvertrees full time so I have a good understanding of the importance of parent partnership, This means that myself and the team go above and beyond to include the parents in everything that we do and we have built excellent relationships with all of our families.

In nursery I am extremely passionate about supporting my team with their practice, helping them to gain up to date knowledge and skills.  I have embedded the practice of outstanding teaching and learning centred around the children who attend Silvertrees to give them the best start in life.
