We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

Here, at our day nursery in St Andrews, we understand just how important it is for growing little ones to get the nutritional balance they need. So, while your child is at our Swindon nursery, we ensure they can enjoy healthy snacks, meals, and drinks throughout the day. There's no extra cost involved - it's included in your fees.  

Our seasonal nursery menus feature childhood favourites packed with goodness. They are accredited by NHS Startwell. Every day features a different set of dishes, which means there is always an opportunity to try something new and delicious. And everything is freshly prepared, on-site, by our talented nursery chef.  

Does your child have specific dietary requirements? Don't worry, simply speak to your Centre Director – our team can make sure they are accounted for with safe alternatives.

Breakfast 

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge.  

Morning Snack 

Fresh fruit with wholesale toast or baked goods, served with a cup of milk or water.

Pork bolognaise (vegetarian option: red lentil and vegetable bolognaise) with cheesy garlic bread.  

Afternoon Snack 

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks, served with a cup of milk or water.  

Early Evening Snack 

Salmon crunch wrap and egg crunch wrap with carrot sticks. Caribbean fresh fruit salad with vanilla natural yoghurt for dessert.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child. In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Swindon are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

You will find our nursery located in Blunsdon St Andrews, on Highdown Way just a 15-minute drive from the Centre of Swindon.  

For those arriving by car, rest assured there is an onsite parking facility available to allow safe and seamless drop-offs and collections. With the A419, just a short drive from the nursery, we are in the perfect location for those commuting. 

Arriving via public transport? There is a bus stop a 2-minute walk from the nursery on Jovial Monk serving bus routes 4, 16 and H93.
