Our beautiful nursery is situated within walking distance to Thames Ditton train station, with direct trains to London and within walking distance to the local village. 

We have excellent links within the local community and have great relationships with all local schools, making the big move up to primary education a seamless one!

Our bright and spacious Thames Ditton nursery is divided up into three rooms. Each room is tailored to different age ranges, ensuring your child will be developing at the same pace as their friends.

Our outdoor space is something we’re extremely proud of, and something we encourage the children to use as much as possible. The garden runs around the whole building also offering shaded outdoor space for each age group and plenty of opportunities to explore and learn through play.

Funded Childcare

We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

Food at Busy Bees in Thames Ditton

Getting good, healthy, and nutritious food is something we care about at Busy Bees Thames Ditton. Not only does providing healthy food in a nursery set the foundation for healthy eating habits, but it’s also super important to fuel good growth and development.  

The fees you pay are inclusive of all meals, drinks, and snacks, which are also prepared on-site by our nursery chef.

Breakfast

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge.  

Morning Snack

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods, with a drink of milk or water. 

Lunch 

Cheese straws followed by either chicken pasta or blackeye beans and vegetable pasta with green beans, with a drink of water. 

Afternoon Snack

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks with a drink of milk or water. 

Early Evening Snack

Baked beans on toast followed by rice pudding with apple sauce, with a drink of water.

Our Fees

We believe in an open and transparent approach to nursery fees. Click the button below for weekly, daily, and session rates for our exceptional childcare.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child. You’ll find our Thames Ditton nursery on Mercer Close, which is a short walk or car journey from the centre of Thames Ditton. The nursery is conveniently located next door to the library and a short walk to the local village and train station.

Travelling to us via public transport? There are several bus stops a short walk from our nursery, including one just off Giggs Hill Road.

"My daughter has attended Busy Bees since she was nearly two starting at one day and moving to three. Our experience of Busy Bees has just got better and better since she started. The staff are incredibly loving towards her and I know when I leave her and pick her up she is going to have a great day. The garden is gorgeous and in the warmer months they spend loads of time out there which she loves. In terms of warmth and care I really couldn't rate it highly enough. The staff always make an effort to think of new activities and there is something extra curricular every day they can do like football or playball which adds another nice dimension. I would really recommend Busy Bees TD."

"Our son has been going to this nursery for over two years and he's grown and developed so much! He loves all the teachers and enjoys the different activities each day, as well as the big open space to run around in! The nursery also offer additional sports and language activities which we've signed up for. All in all, we are very happy with the nursery!"
