Nursery in Wantage, Rockwell House

The staff is always smiley and caring. They always take the time to tell you about your child's day telling about all the cute/funny things that happened during the day. They are also very careful in not getting the children dirty which is a great help at the end of the day!

Our son absolutely loves it here…to the extent where he wants to pop in at weekends 😂. Lisa and team are genuinely great.

My son has been attending Rockwell nursery for over 6 months, its such a welcoming and safe environment. It's clear how much the staff love the children and it's always lovely having the pick up hand over :) We've also seen our son learning and developing so well under their care. We fully recommend Rockwell!

Absolutely amazing nursery, the staff is dedicated above and beyond, helping to make the nursery a truly amazing place. They have several projects ongoing or in planning, they keep on working very hard to keep introducing new initiatives. I cannot thank the team at Rockwell House enough for what they are doing for us and for other families to help and support the children in every way.

Absolutely amazing setting, lovely staff. The setting is spacious compared to other nurseries and very clean. The food is healthy and freshly made. Parents get to download an application where they receive updates about nappies, meals and sleep, as well as photos. My little own joined a month ago and made so much progress already. Overall, very high-level service. 5 stars for everything.

Rockwell has been the most fantastic start to our little one?s nursery journey. All the staff there are friendly, attentive and welcoming. Our little girl can be nervous around new people and it?s a testament to the nursery staff that by week 2 she was flinging herself into the carer's arms at drop-off! The genuine love and care that the staff show for our little girl is incredible and the huge smile she comes out of nursery with speaks volumes! We get regular updates throughout the day via the app and always feel happy and comfortable that she is happy and safe at all times. The centre manager also knows everything about her which speaks volumes for how close-knit and caring all the nursery staff are. Keep doing a fantastic job Rockwell we are so grateful to have you in our little girl's life!

My son has attended Rockwell since April 2022 and my daughter since July 2023. Since that time, the nursery has had its fair share of struggles with staffing and management but both of my children have continued to be very happy at nursery and I have had no doubts that they have been thoroughly cared for and looked after. Since the new management took over about 6 months ago, the nursery has changed tenfold and the staff are all amazing. So attentive, caring and always giving me thorough feedback about how both of their days have been. Both of my children are so happy to walk into nursery and their development has come on in leaps and bounds since being there. I can?t recommend Rockwell highly enough!

My little boy has been at Rockwell since November due to the closure of the Shellingford nursery. The initial couple of weeks were tough on both of us with him settling in. However, after only a few short weeks he was excited to go into nursery each day and is always so happy and chatty when I collect him. I've also really noticed a change in his development, he's more confident, more chatty and overall so happy and seems to be learning so much and takes me by surprise with new things he has learned! The staff are great and always take time to give me an update on his day! I was really apprehensive about this move but the staff made me feel so at ease and made it easy for us! I would definitely recommend this nursery!
