Director

Sally Davis

Hi, my name is Sally Davis and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City.

I have been at the centre since 2015 and have worked in the childcare sector for over 20 years.

My team and I are extremely proud of our childcare setting. It is vital to us that children enjoy their time at the nursery whilst parents feel both happy and assured with the care provided. This begins with an enthusiastic, caring and passionate team of practitioners who make it their task every day to ensure that every child that attends the centre receives the very best start in life. We embrace every child’s individuality and reflect on our practice to ensure that each child thrives in their learning and development.

We are all dedicated in providing an outstanding level of care and committed to all children in our care.
I am very passionate about Early Years and my role at the centre. I have certified competency within the following areas: Paediatric First Aid, First Aid at work, Behaviour Management, Food Hygiene, SEND, and NVQ Level 3 Management. Furthermore, I am the Designated Safeguarding Person within the Centre.

I am really proud to be a part of the Welwyn Garden City family and to have such an enthusiastic long standing team who are always eager to provide outstanding opportunities for the children and families in our care.

I look forward to meeting and showing new families around our wonderful centre in Welwyn Garden City.

Meet the amazing team

What
Welwyn Garden City
parents say

The team at the nursery are very thoughtful and attentive, and communication is clear and responsive.

My son has been addending this nursery since February this year and we cannot fault a single thing. I know you might be thinking “really?!” But yes to me, they are a top nursery and their ofsted report shows that. They take pride in the nursery and how they care and teach the children. They have brought up any developmental concerns with my son which we got checked out with the GP and they supported us throughout the process. They take care and consideration in all they do with the children. Lots of activities on different themes and learning in the process. My son LOVES the food. Their daily updates are good. If you're looking to send your child to a nursery - send them here. You wont be disappointed.

It's lovely to see my child enjoying the activity packed days, and for a parent to have some connection via the app throughout the day. The staff are lovely and supportive, and one of the most important factors of choosing Busy Bees, was the food cooked onsite.
