The Leicester Wigston Magna opened in 1995 and offers a warm, welcoming, caring and stimulating environment. We are situated near to Wigston Magna's shopping centre and next to the Memorial Park.
The Nursery has two floors and our four bright and happy rooms are designed to allow the children the space to learn, develop and have fun whilst keeping their comfort in mind. The environment is pleasant and supportive where the children can find their own identities through their play.
Our baby rooms are tranquil areas for play, interaction and rest. Babies individual care and needs are fully met and supported by our experienced and enthusiastic team.
“The outdoor play area offers and enticing and stimulating environment which further enhances the already good resources inside. This is supported by the good quality of teaching enabling children to make good progress in their leaning and development. ” Ofsted 2014.
The older children have lots of rich play opportunities that gives them the inspiration to learn with enjoyment whilst keeping them busy all day. They have the choice of both indoor and outdoor time, depending on where they choose to play. There are quiet areas too if they want some time to rest.
Our fantastic outdoor play area is where the children can be physical, keep healthy and explore their world. They have a sand pit, covered story area, trikes, natural areas or space if they want to just run around!
The fascinating world of technology is waiting for the children to experience in our Discovery Cove. Here they can experience the magic of touch screens, educational and sensory IT equipment and toys.
We pride ourselves on our relationships with parents by sharing information and working together with them. By holding regular Parent Sessions and events, it allows parents to join in and become active in their child's time with us. Our good Ofsted outcome reflects this.
“Practitioners work sensitively with parents, which offers a strong contribution to ensuring that children receive the necessary support for their individual needs” Ofsted 2014.
All our staff are welcoming, qualified, experienced and knowledgeable. From your very first day with us, they treat and respect the children as individuals ensuring that their transition from home to Nursery will be smooth.
Please feel free to call in and our friendly team will be happy show you around.
