Food at Busy Bees in Wollaton, Nottingham

We understand the importance of making sure children get the right nourishment to support good growth and development. At our Wollaton nursery, children receive all meals, drinks, and snacks as part of the fees you pay.   

The menus work on a week-by-week basis and are varied and changed seasonally. Does your child have any specific dietary requirements or allergies? Get in touch with the Centre Director - who will be happy to discuss other safe alternatives for your child.

Breakfast  

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge. 

Morning Snack  

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods, served with a cup of milk or water. 

Lunch  

Moroccan chickpea and vegetable tagine, served with couscous and a cup of water. Followed with banana and low sugar custard for dessert.   

Afternoon Snack  

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks served with a cup of milk or water. 

Early Evening Snack 

Hummus with vegetable sticks to start, followed by a cheese and apple scone served with grated beetroot and a cup of water.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child. Conveniently situated in the heart of Wollaton, our nursery is a short, leisurely stroll away from the enchanting Wollaton Park. 

With the A52 just a 4-minute drive from the nursery and the M1 at Junction 25 just a 10-minute drive away, we are in the perfect location for families commuting. Rest assured, if you are arriving by car, we have an onsite car parking facility available to help make drop-offs and collections as safe and seamless as possible.  

Arriving via public transport? The is a bus stop outside the nursery at Admiral Rodney (Stop WO06) serving routes 13 and 30.
