Director

Rachel Brown

Hello my name is Rachel and would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the Centre Director here at Worksop.

I previously worked for Busy Bees Daybrook, starting there in 2003 as Senior Nursery Nurse. I have worked my way up the career ladder being successful in my appointment as Assistant Manager whilst working at this this then i was promoted to the manager at our Wollaton site from 2005 to 2010. I took a 2 year break from my career when i gave birth to my daughter, I then returned to manage the Southwell Busy Bees in October 2012 before coming to Worksop in 2020 and haven't looked back. My qualifications include my NNEB, A1 certificate in assessing, Food safety and hygiene level 3, First aid at work and Paediatric First Aid and many more such as Safeguarding and Language lead. Here at Worksop, we take great pride in providing exceptional care. By creating nurturing environments and supporting our team's ongoing learning and development, we ensure that every child receives the best start in life.

As manager i strive to provide my staff team with as much training to better their career and knowledge with regular training opportunities. This ensures that my staff keep up to date with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and use this effectively in the learning and development of the children in our care, growing and developing their core skills at their own pace catering activities and learning based around their individual interests. I would love for you to book a visit to take a look around my setting, to meet myself and my dedicated staff team. Feel free to contact us with any queries or questions you may have and I look forward to welcoming you and your family very soon to Busy Bees Worksop.
