Busy Bees Cheam is a welcoming, purpose-built nursery in North Cheam which has recently been redecorated.

With cosy baby rooms, three outdoor play areas, an experienced long-standing team and freshly prepared meals from our on-site chef creating NHS-accredited meals, the nursery offers a warm and nurturing environment.

Families also benefit from excellent transport links, on-site parking, buggy storage and a growing programme of enriching extra-curricular activities.

Hello, my name is Kate and I'm the Centre Director at Busy Bees Cheam.

I have worked in the early years sector for 18 years and hold Level 1, 2 and 3 childcare qualifications, along with a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism. I am also a proud mum of two children, which has given me an even greater appreciation for how important the early years are in shaping a child's future. I love seeing children grow, develop and discover new things each day. At Busy Bees Cheam, I'm passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment that feels like a home from home, where children, families and staff feel valued, supported and inspired to thrive.

Bee Curious guides every moment in our nursery, from caring routines to planned activities, placing the unique child and their key person at the heart of learning. Our son started at Busy Bees Cheam at the beginning of January and we have been so happy with every aspect of the nursery and care. He has settled in really nicely with the nursery and other children and the staff have helped with that. All the staff are friendly, happy, professional and give a great handover of your child's day. It has made the process feel relaxed and positive and we look forward to hearing / seeing on the app what he has been up to. They spend lots of time in the garden and each week parents get a list of activities and themes for their child's week. Thanks everyone, we are very happy!
