At Busy Bees Lewes, our passionate, long-serving team cultivates a nurturing environment, packed with exciting things for your little one to see and do.

Our mission is to support your little one as they follow their curiosity and develop their independence, setting them up for a lifelong love of learning.

We understand that every child is unique, and your little one will be assigned a keyperson who’ll encourage them to explore their interests and shape their day around what ignites their imagination.

Whether they’re discovering the natural world in our garden, sploshing paint onto their latest masterpiece, or getting stuck into group story time, your little one will take part in a variety of activities designed to set them up for success in full-time education.

You’ll find us at the heart of Lewes on St James Street, not far from the A25 and A27, making us ideal for families living or working in the area.

Arriving by car? We’ve got ample on-site parking, making drop-offs and pick-ups swift and safe.

Travelling on public transport? Lewes train station is just a 5-minute walk away, and we’re well served by local bus routes including the 123 and 126.

Hi, my name is Jack Peacock and I am the Centre Director at Busy Bees in Lewes.

I am passionate about creating a welcoming nursery where children feel happy, confident and encouraged to explore the world around them. I believe every child learns in their own way, and I enjoy supporting them as they develop new skills, discover their interests and become more independent.

I am proud to lead a caring and committed team and work closely with families to make sure every child feels supported, valued and able to thrive.

My daughter loves Busy Bees nursery at Lewes, she has been attending for around 18 months and has thrived there. She was a shy toddler when she first started but has flourished into a confident little girl and has learnt so much! The staff work so hard and always make sure the children are happy and exceptionally looked after. They genuinely care about the children, and my daughter has such a good relationship with her key worker Jodie, who is amazing with her and knows her so well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Busy Bees Lewes to anyone 😀

Busy Bees has been a fantastic start for our two boys and set them up brilliantly for school. The staff are attentive, warm and professional and the setting is great with plenty of outside and inside areas for the kids to play and learn.
