At Busy Bees Ripon, we provide a welcoming, purpose-built nursery where children can learn, explore and grow in confidence. Our passionate team care for children from 12 weeks to five years, creating a nurturing environment where every child can enjoy their early years.

With eight thoughtfully designed rooms and plenty of opportunities for outdoor exploration, children can learn through play, develop new skills and build their independence at their own pace.

Our single-storey nursery offers eight dedicated rooms, each providing age-appropriate spaces and resources to support children throughout their development. Every room has direct access to an enclosed outdoor area, giving children plenty of opportunities to enjoy fresh air and active play.

One of our standout features is our extensive garden, which includes a woodland nature trail and forest area. This gives children a wonderful space to explore the natural world, develop their curiosity and enjoy outdoor learning.

Located on College Business Park, our nursery is set in a quiet position away from main roads and close to local residential areas, making it a convenient choice for families in Ripon.

We also have a large private car park with plenty of spaces, making drop-offs and collections straightforward and convenient.

Hi my name is Chelsy and I am the Centre Director at Busy Bees Ripon.

I have worked for Busy Bees Ripon since March 2017. I hold a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare and Development. I also have a Level 3 Diploma in Special Educational Needs in Early Years Settings.

I have always had a passion for childcare and have worked in the sector since 2007 starting off as a Level 2 apprentice. I am dedicated to ensuring that every child that comes through the doors is given the best care and opportunities to learn and grow. I believe in building strong working relationships with parents and carers as we support the children in their early years. 

I am proud to lead my team and strive to support them as they develop and grow their own knowledge and skills in Childcare.

My little girl goes into nursery happily. She has made some good bonds with the staff and other children. It always amazes me how well the staff learn the children’s names and remember them even when they move up into another class. Staff are always happy to chat and go the extra mile organising additional activities such as at Christmas. I would definitely recommend Busy Bees @ Ripon.
