An Ilford nursery where the staff ‘provide the highest quality of care for all children’ has been given a second ‘Outstanding’ rating by Ofsted.
The team at Busy Bees Ilford received recognition for ensuring children benefit from a ‘rich set of experience to learn about others’, noting that the children ‘arrive happy, eager and keen to start their day’.
The staff were praised for being ‘superb role models’ and ‘forging strong relationships with children and their families’ and having ‘an in-depth knowledge and understanding of children’s interests and specific needs, which they use to shape the programme for learning’. It was also noted that the ‘staff focus on children gaining independent skills and confidence’ ensuring they are well prepared for starting school.
There was high praise from parents who said they feel ‘highly supported’ and were ‘delighted that the nursery is inclusive and focuses on the individual needs of their children’. The inspector commented that the ‘staff create activities for home learning and provide parents with regular updates on their child’s learning’.
Centre Director Katie Harvey was happy to celebrate the achievement with her colleagues, saying: “An Outstanding rating from Ofsted is a testament to our dedicated nursery team – they are dedicated to ensuring children’s learning and development is at the forefront.
“Our partnership with parents is essential as it allows us to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can reach their full potential. We are looking forward to continuing to build on the solid foundation of quality we have in place, ensuring we can continue to provide high-quality care to children.”
