Busy Bees has announced a new partnership with BBC Children in Need, the UK’s leading children’s charity.

The partnership is a monumental step forward in Busy Bees’ commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children across the UK.

More than 350 Busy Bees centres will be getting involved in fundraising efforts to help support other young children, causes and community projects throughout the country.

Chris McCandless, Busy Bees Europe CEO, said: “A partnership with BBC Children in Need makes perfect sense for us as we both share the ambition to give children the best start in life – improving opportunities and supporting mental wellbeing to lay the foundations for future success.

“We've committed to fundraising for the charity this year with the support of our colleagues, parents and children to kick off the partnership. We're proud to get behind the charity and support the important work it's doing for vulnerable young people across the UK."

For more than half of a century, Children in Need has been helping children and young people in every corner of the UK be the best they can be, currently funding nearly 1,500 charities and children’s projects.

Claire Hoyle, Director of Income, Marketing & Communications at BBC Children in Need, added: “We are thrilled to be launching our partnership with Busy Bees to fund essential support to help every child across the UK thrive and be the best they can be. This year, more than 350 brilliant Busy Bees Centres are getting involved to raise funds to help make life lighter for children across the UK when they need it most.”

The announcement comes at a pivotal time as Busy Bees recently launched its brand-new curriculum, Bee Curious, as part of its commitment to giving every child the best start in life and providing children with better outcomes in later life, all of which align with Children in Need’s mission of ensuring every child has the chance to reach their potential.
