Busy Bees has been recognised as one of the country’s Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers for the third year running.
From April 2023 to March 2024, Busy Bees has supported 995 apprentices across our nurseries.
The Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers rankings are designed to showcase the very best of England’s apprenticeship employers, with those listed recognised for providing successful apprenticeship programmes over the last 12 months.
Busy Bees Group Chief People Officer Charlotte Hutchings said: “Apprenticeships are fundamental to our business, allowing us to bring in new people who are passionate about giving every child the best start in life.
“In return, our apprenticeships can be rewarded with a market-leading salary and the chance to continue acquiring new skills and qualifications throughout their career. Our ambition is to continue future-proofing the early years sector by investing in homegrown talent.”
With apprentice roles available at Busy Bees’ centres across the UK, successful candidates will have the chance to work towards a Level 2, 3 or 5 apprenticeship across the Early Years sector, whilst also gaining practical experience in creating a happy and safe environment in which children can play and learn.
Luci Nevett, based at Busy Bees Rugby, recently achieved her Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. The 19-year-old attended the nursery when she was two years old, when the existing Centre Director, Natalie Hall, looked after her.
Luci has been with Busy Bees for over three years now and has appreciated the support she has received from Busy Bees and on-the-job training whilst enhancing her skills in the nursery environment.
She said: “It has been an exciting journey at Busy Bees so far and I am happy to have achieved a distinction for my Level 3 diploma. I am proud to work for Busy Bees and feel like I am really making a difference. It is hugely rewarding and every day is a new adventure with the children, I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings!”
