Busy Bees Teddington in Twickenham, which has been a part of the local community since 2009, has unveiled its newly refurbished nursery, as part of its commitment to providing high-quality early years education and care to families in Teddington.
Located on Church Road, the nursery has undergone a transformation over the past year investing over £130,000 in brand-new furniture and resources.
The refurbishment has been designed in line with its Bee Curious curriculum, ensuring children can feed their natural curiosity in engaging and playful environments. Bee Curious is the UK's only independently evaluated early years curriculum which is centred around each child’s individual needs and embraces play-based learning to spark imagination and build confidence.
Dani Sallis, Centre Director at Busy Bees Teddington, joined the centre in 2014. Along with her long-standing team, they have over 96 years of collective early years’ experience.
Dani said: “At our nursery, everything is built around giving every child the best start in life. We’ve wanted to create a playful environment that reflects children’s interests, making them feel safe, supported and excited to learn.
“This transformation is a commitment to our children’s learning and development, and we know it will have a positive impact on their Busy Bees journey and preparing them for school and beyond. I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished, and I can’t wait to see children flourish in their new environment.”
A parent at Busy Bees Teddington, added: “I am very happy to see a refresh of the centre which is exciting for both the children and staff which makes the centre look clean, refreshed and inviting for everyone to enjoy. I am very excited to see how my children explore their newly refreshed room.”
