There’s a new buzz in Guernsey as brand-new nursery, Busy Bees at St Peter Port, officially opens its doors to families, providing a safe, nurturing and enriching environment for up to 77 children.

Located on Queens Road, the three-storey newly built nursery provides exceptional early years education for children aged three months to five years. Offering a home-from-home environment, the nursery has been designed to spark curiosity, independence, and prepare children for school and beyond.

Inside the nursery, families will find bright, spacious learning environments with plenty of room for children to discover through learning, including creative play areas and large outdoor spaces.?

At the heart of the nursery is Kay Heaford, a Centre Director who brings over 30 years of experience. She is supported by an experienced team who share a commitment to delivering high-quality early years care and education for every child.

Kay Heaford, Centre Director at Busy Bees at St Peter Port, said: “We are delighted to be bringing high-quality early years education and care to families in Guernsey, and we can’t wait to welcome children and families to our nursery.

“Our wonderful nursery team is very excited to meet families and is committed to making every day engaging and joyful for children. Through safe, supportive and home-from-home environments, we’re looking forward to supporting children to flourish from the day they join us.”

Busy Bees at St Peter Port also provides NHS-accredited menus, with nutritious meals freshly prepared every day on-site by the nursery’s chef. Children who attend the nursery will also benefit from Busy Bees’ innovative curriculum Bee Curious, designed to feed children’s natural curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning.

The nursery is holding an Open Day Week from Monday 21st - Friday 25th September. During the Open Day, families can tour the nursery, meet the team and ask questions, and experience the Bee Curious curriculum in action.
