Busy Bees at Bristol Barrs Court is a children’s day nursery situated close to the A4174 ring road. We open 7.30-6.30pm to support our busy parents. The Nursery is easily found and is situated next to ASDA Longwell Green.
We have ample parking that provides a safe area for dropping off and collecting your children. We have a very long standing staff team which we are very proud of.
The Nursery is purpose built with six warm nurturing rooms for Under 2’s, including a calm sensory room, rooms to explore paint, sand, water and be creative!! We have two large rooms each for 2-3’s and 3-5’s with separate garden areas to enjoy different activities. We provide quality childcare for children aged between six weeks and five years and provide initiatives such as Busy Babies, Shake and Write and Wake and Shake. Busy Babies is designed exclusively to enhance and develop babies’ sense, using everyday objects in high contrasting tones to encourage babies to reach and explore. Wake and Shake is a daily activity that is not only fun, but enhances child development too!
Music with Mummy and Jolly Babies also join us on a Monday morning, Kinderama on a Wednesday and also Stretch and Grow on a Thursday.
We are very proud of our 5 star food standards rating, offering breakfast as the first meal of the day, then nutritional snacks, followed by a two course freshly cooked main meal and a high tea. These are all included at no extra charge and are freshly prepared by our in house qualified cook.

I started working for this Nursery in September 2003 and have completed my NVQ Level's 2 and 3 in Early Years. Over the years I have worked my way up from Nursery Assistant to Acting Nursery Manager and completed my NVQ in Management.
I really enjoy working with children and being a part of this Nursery team, so much so that my Daughter now attends two days a week in the Baby room and loves every minute of her time here.
"JL Busy Bees is a really lovely Nursery with a friendly atmosphere. Through both of my children I have had experience of each room and dealt with most of the staff who are really approachable and friendly. There are a vast variety of activities carried out whether it's something creative like painting or baking or themed days and events. I would thoroughly recommend the Nursery and think they have played a massive part in my children's development which I am extremely grateful for."
"I am so pleased that Bella was able to attend Busy Bees. It's nerve wracking when the time comes that you have to go back to work and you need to start thinking about childcare and whether you are doing the right thing putting your little one in Nursery. The Busy Bees Team all made me feel so relaxed and welcome right from my 1st meeting. Everyone at Nursery is so friendly and really make an effort to know all the mums and little ones personally. Bella loves her time at Nursery,"
"I have always felt that I could work with the Nursery to get the best for my children. The staff genuinely care for my children and so they feel safe and really happy there. I have always been impressed with all the work the team put into thinking of new activities to do with the children and at times like Christmas they pull out all the stops to make the children's time special."
