At Busy Bees Burton-Upon-Trent, we create a warm, family-focused environment where children can learn, explore and thrive. Our purpose-built nursery welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers into a caring home-from-home where they can feel happy, secure and confident.

Our bright and airy nursery has been thoughtfully designed around the different stages of children’s development, with a wide range of age-appropriate resources and activities. Our team plan varied experiences through the Bee Curious curriculum, giving children opportunities to learn through play, explore their imagination and build their independence.

We also have a large outdoor area where children can enjoy fresh air, explore their surroundings and continue their learning beyond the nursery rooms. Our friendly, long-standing team work closely with families to create a familiar and supportive environment where children can flourish.

Located on Second Avenue, our Burton-Upon-Trent nursery is just a two-minute drive from Centrum East Retail Park and around 10 minutes from Burton town centre. We’re also conveniently situated for commuters, with the A38 just a three-minute drive away.

For families travelling by car, we have a large on-site car park for easy drop-offs and collections. If you’re travelling by public transport, the nearest bus stop is around a four-minute walk away at Centrum East Retail Park, with the number 12 bus serving the area.

Hello, my name is Cathy and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Burton.

I have been part of the Busy Bees family since 2005, progressing from Nursery Nurse to Nursery Manager. Alongside my experience, I hold Level 3 qualifications in Early Years Education and Leadership and Management, as well as additional training in areas including safeguarding, paediatric first aid and food hygiene.

Here at our centre, every child is at the heart of what we do. Our team provides a caring and supportive environment where children can enjoy their day, learn through play and develop at their own pace, while receiving the individual care and encouragement they need.

I look forward to welcoming you and your child and starting your exciting journey with us here at Burton.

The nursery has the loveliest atmosphere. You are made to feel so very welcome. The children in the nursery are given so much to do to help them grow. They also have freeplay where they can express themselves freely. I would not hesitate to leave my children here if I had a younger one still.
