We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

Our Fees

We believe in an open and transparent approach to nursery fees. Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded Childcare Offer for 3 and 4 year olds to help support parents with the cost of childcare? If eligible you could be entitled to up to 30 hours of Early Education and Childcare for up to 48 weeks. Find out more on our 'Funding Options' page. Preparing for School at Busy Bees at Cardiff Gate

We believe that nursery is the first step in a lifelong learning journey and strive to prepare your child for the transition into school with activities designed to support their academic, social,  and emotional development. 

Our expert-designed curriculum exposes your little one to a variety of basic concepts, sparking their curiosity and empowering them to become confident and capable learners. 

At our well-equipped nursery in Cardiff we’ll introduce your child to the magic of books, support their social and emotional development, and begin teaching them foundational concepts that they’ll apply when they transition into school.

"BusyBees Cardiff Gate is, in my opinion, one of the best nurseries in Cardiff. We initially looked at the Montessori Nurseries in Cardiff but quickly realised that BusyBees actually embody the Montessori values and ethos more than a lot of other nurseries that advertise themselves as being Montessori. Our son has attended BusyBees Cardiff Gate from 14 months all the way until he left for school nursery, and changing nurseries (due to us moving areas) has felt like a great loss. We miss the warmth and thoughtfulness of BusyBees, the way that the staff there treat each child almost as if it was their own. They nurture individual strengths and differences in such an empathetic and supportive way, and as a parent we have always felt so assured that our son will be not only well looked after but thriving whilst at BusyBees. Our son has multiple allergies and asthma and we have always felt safe knowing that staff are well trained and will, on their own accord, spot when inhalers or medication need to be administered (in line with the plan we have agreed with them). We felt there was a real co-working relationship with the nursery and us, in that changes at home were really taken into consideration at nursery and additional support or nurturing was provided when needed. Also, the staff at BusyBees Cardiff have always been so motivated and creative in how they engage the children. We actually had quite a shock when moving our son to school nursery (and their on-site wraparound provider) and learning that they put the TV on for 3-4 year olds twice a day, including a full film every afternoon. Having come from BusyBees (where that would never have been a thing) this was incredibly disappointing to learn. We truly miss the proactive, creative, nurturing and holistic care our son had at BusyBees Cardiff Gate. We sincerely recommend BusyBees Cardiff Gate to anyone. You will not regret trusting them with your child. "
