Our Busy Bees nursery in Chelmsford, on Springfield Road offers the perfect environment for your child to learn, develop and thrive during their stay at nursery, with the wide range of fantastic facilities on offer.   

Our dedicated team are passionate about providing every child with the best start in life and will support your child throughout each stage of their development. To help track your child's development, they will be appointed with a key person who will provide you with regular updates via the Busy Bees app.

There are endless opportunities for your little one to reach their full potential at our nursery in Chelmsford, with the additional extracurricular activities available included in the fees you pay. With something for every child to enjoy, we provide sports and yoga sessions for toddlers and preschoolers, along with sing and sign sessions for children of all ages!  

You will find our nursery in Chelmsford, located on Springfield Road just a 5-minute drive from the city centre. Rest assured, with our large onsite car park, drop-offs and collections will be as safe and seamless as possible.   

With excellent transport links for those arriving via public transport, there is a train station just a 20-minute walk from the nursery, along with a bus stop a short walk away on Brookhurst Close serving routes C8 and 73.   

Arriving on foot? We have a buggy store onsite, where you can securely leave buggies and pushchairs during your child's stay at nursery.

Hello, my name is Natalie and I am the Centre Director here at Springfield. 

I have over 12 years childcare experience and hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare and a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management. I joined Busy Bees in 2014 and gradually progressed to becoming Centre Director. I am proud and privileged to manage and lead a team of hard-working and dedicated individuals who truly do put each individual child and their family at the heart of everything they do to ensure all children are given the best start in life. 

When I'm not at Busy Bees I am busy being mummy to 2 young children, both of whom attended Busy Bees and my youngest still attends the nursery. 

I cannot wait to meet and welcome you to our Outstanding nursery.
