Why You Will Love Our Nursery

Busy Bees in Crawley provides GOOD childcare, as reported by Ofsted, (2012)

Busy Bees Day Nursery in Crawley is a purpose built, single-storey building with welcoming individual play areas for each age group and a FANTASTIC indoor garden play area.
The nursery is conveniently located close to the town centre and is ideally located for parents in and around Crawley.

We offer full and part time sessions as well as 'early bird sessions' (from 7:30am) to all parents. Nappies and wipes are inclusive for all babies.

Crawley received another 5 star rating from their local Environmental Health Office , this is another fantastic result proving they have maintained very high standards. All meals are freshly prepared on site by our cook Emma and the children enjoy a balanced diet on all days.

At nursery we offer a variety of activities and learning opportunities for the children, we also implement specially designed initiatives created by Busy Bees.
We have Busy Babies initiative in our Baby Room for children aged 3months to 14 months. This is an area with lots of different textured materials suitable for babies to explore their senses. We have 2 small areas in the main baby room, one with black and white materials and one with purple and lilac materials.
Imagination station initiative which is for 2-3 years. So far since getting the Imagination station we have had a fantastic beach room with inflatable’s, sand play, bat and ball games etc, a Space theme where the children were able to dress up as astronauts and play in the moon sand, a winter wonderland theme where it was a cold room, the children were able to do science experiments with ice, play and discover animals that are around at winter and over Christmas we had a special visit from Santa and we also had a woodland them where there was sleeping bags and tents for the children to play with and they even made their own pretend camp fire. Excellent for the children to explore their imagination.
We also offer our Wake and Shake initiative to children ages 2-5 years. We do this every day and it’s not only a fun activity for the staff and children but also enhances their development too.

Christian Austin

Hello, my name is Christian. Daddy to Mabel, husband to Katie. As a modern parent I often find myself compelled to over think every big decision I make in my child's life, with each one being subject to extensive googling and background research beforehand. I can save you some of that research now, by telling you that Busy Bees is, in my opinion at least, the absolute best nursery you will find in Crawley.

"From day one they have made an effort to get to know Mabel, not as just another child but as a little person with her own likes, dislikes and strange little foibles. As a result Mabel actively looks forward to her days spent here. I also love that Busy Bees have been so accommodating to our individual parenting choices. I really cannot praise Busy Bees highly enough. If you are considering a nursery, give google a break and take my word for it. You really won't find anywhere better."

Katie Austin

Hello I am Katie, mum to Mabel and wife to Christian. I work in the IT department of a chemical distribution company. Out of work my time is devoted to family; day trips out, gardening and cooking together. I also enjoy arts and crafts.

"Busy Bees offers Mabel more than I thought possible from a nursery. The staff here take a real interest in her well being and the food menu ensures that she gets to enjoy a variety of foods. She is learning a lot here too, I am constantly surprised by the things she shows me or tells me about when I know I haven't taught her these things. Most importantly I have never had any doubts when I drop her off each morning and I have left her in good hands."

Roz Harrington

Hi My name is Roz Harrington, I'm a Projects Administrator and my husband and I moved to Crawley from London almost two years ago. My little boy Finn is going to Toddlers from Pre-Toddlers and has been at Busy Bees since he was 5 months old. Choosing somewhere safe, stimulating and fun for my little one was one of the most important decisions I have ever made.

"We are so happy with the care Finn receives. I have every confidence that the staff looking after him go to great lengths to ensure the children have their physical, emotional and educational needs met. I love the incredible space & resources available, specifically the indoor & outdoor garden, sensory room and Imagination station. Their obvious dedication to maintaining high standards in nutrition, hygiene and safety are also very reassuring. I honestly cant recommend Busy Bees more highly"
