Since opening our doors in early 2025, we've welcomed children to our ever-expanding hive, helping them to sharpen their skills and prepare for the transition to full-time education. Our mission is to engage and delight your little one, welcoming them into a friendly, vibrant community where they'll get stuck into structured activities and free-play, supported by our team of childcare experts.

Whether they're exploring the magic of books, discovering the world through role play, or getting a daily dose of exercise in our secure outdoor play area, your little one will begin to develop a range of key skills.

We're set up for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, with dedicated spaces and activities for each age group. (Including spots for a sneaky snooze.

We're conveniently located on Crowborough Trading Park, making us ideal for families living and working in the area.

Arriving by car? We've got ample on-site parking for easy-breezy drop-offs and pick-ups, safe from busy roads. Using public transport? We're a two-minute walk from Crowborough train station and served by several local bus routes.

Busy Bees Crowborough is overseen by centre director Billie Baillie Mclauchlan, who prides herself on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for your little one. Billie Baillie Mclauchlan

Hi, my name is Billie and I am the Centre Director at Busy Bees Crowborough.

I have loved being part of Busy Bees Crowborough since the nursery first opened in 2025, and it has been wonderful to see our nursery community grow and develop. I am passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel comfortable, confident and excited to come through our doors each day.

I believe every child has their own unique personality, interests and way of learning, and I enjoy supporting them as they discover new things and build their confidence. Providing children with opportunities to explore, make choices and learn through play is something I feel particularly passionate about.

Being part of a nursery from its very beginning has also given me the opportunity to build strong relationships with our families and our team. I am proud of the welcoming community we are creating at Busy Bees Crowborough and look forward to seeing our children flourish as they grow and learn with us.
