Welcome to our nursery...

At Busy Bees Ealing Northfields Day Nursery and Preschool we absolutely love to play, create and educate together.

We know how important your child’s safety, development and preschool education is to you. That’s why every child at Busy Bees Ealing Northfields is assigned their very own key carer to ensure that we can provide you and your little ones with continuous assessment and the very best in quality childcare.

Cosy Nursery in the Heart of Northfields

Busy Bees Ealing Northfields Day Nursery and Preschool is tucked away on Windmill Road just off the Northfields Avenue in a residential part of Ealing. A cosy ground-floor nursery with a secure garden, we are favoured by local families for our personal touch and strong parent partnerships.

Many of our families walk to the nursery from nearby housing but we enjoy fantastic public transport links including the E2 and E3 bus routes which stop right by the nursery. The nearest London underground station is Northfields Station on the Piccadilly line, a short 6-minute walk away.

There is limited parking outside the nursery.

The Childcare of Choice for Local Families

A passionate team that works very closely together to develop the children’s learning and growth and a well-connected location are just two of the reasons that make Busy Bees Ealing Northfields the first choice for childcare of local parents.

A cosy, compact, setting with all four age groups on one floor creates a home-from-home feel particularly loved and valued by new parents and those with babies. Busy Bees Ealing Northfields underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2014 with a full redecoration including new flooring and furniture and heavy investment into learning resources and toys.

An Exciting Curriculum for Lifelong Learning

Children at Busy Bees Ealing Northfields Nursery, Ealing enjoy a programme of stimulating and exciting activities and experiences, developed in line with the EYFS statutory framework.

There’s messy play, sensory play, construction, junk-modelling, home corners and role play right through to the pre-school staples of phonics, literacy and elemental mathematics. Our aim is to maximise the potential of every child in our care and we have plenty of fun along the way!

Outdoor Play and Activities

Outdoor play is an essential part of development for all children so we make sure that our children get out and about in our own cosy garden every day.

We also broaden their horizons by taking them out and about in the community on nature explorations in local parks – Boston Manor Park and Gunnersbury Park are both on our doorstep. We also regularly visit Northfields Library to practise our reading skills and for story and rhyme-time.

We’re also committed to offering a wide variety of other activities for learning and development including baby massage, yoga, cookery classes and baking plus specialist PE and ICT classes for preschool children.

Links with Local Schools

Though fun is the order of the day every day we begin to gently introduce more structure in our preschool rooms and deliver the foundations you’d expect for lifelong learning – phonics, literacy and writing, elemental mathematics plus key social skills to help your little ones become confident and independent.

Our preschool children tend to go onto nearby schools including Mount Carmel Catholic Primary School, Ealing and Little Ealing Primary School. We have also fostered strong links with both schools and offer a pick-up and drop-off service.
