Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 2 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Busy Bees Holme Park Day Nursery

At our nursery in Sonning, our fees are inclusive of all meals, drinks and snacks which are prepared on-site by our nursery chef. If your child has any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please contact the Centre Director who will be happy to discuss other delicious alternatives for your child.

If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child. In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Reading are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

"Teachers are lovely and form great bonds with the children in their care. My children run in (literally) happy each day. They do lots of activities from painting, drawing, role play games, football and have lots of outdoor space and equipment for playing on. Great nursery. "

"Have nothing but wonderful things to say about Busy Bees. All the staff are so lovely and caring and seem to know all the children even if they are in different rooms. My daughter loves going and even asks if she gets to go at the weekend (she wanders round the house talking about the staff Tasha, Marion and Charlotte). They have so many activities on offer from painting to water and sand play and spend lots of time playing outside. Highly recommend. "
