Treetops Hopscotch – First Choice for Childcare
An idyllic but convenient location and a huge garden for outdoor learning opportunities – just some of the reasons Treetops Hopscotch is first choice for childcare in Chester.
Our expert and passionate team cares for children aged 12 weeks up to the age of 5, in rooms specifically designed to provide tailored, age and stage-appropriate activities and experiences.
Our qualified staff take an individual approach to each and every child, monitoring their progress and development in line with the EYFS statutory framework. A combination of child-led play and structured learning helps the expert childcare team to maximise the potential of every child.
The team at Treetops Hopscotch prides itself on delivering a friendly and homely environment for our babies, toddlers and preschool children – helping children to settle quickly and parents to relax.
Preschool children benefit from a qualified teacher and a dedicated Phonics room for more focused activities and added concentration for letters and sounds. They can also take part in extra-curricular experiences like Petite Acting Academy – innovative performing arts and drama classes to develop confidence.
Our central location means our parents have a wide choice of neighbouring schools. We have strong links with many of them including St Oswalds CE Primary School, Saughall All Saints C Of E Primary School, Upton Heath C Of E Primary School, The Kings School, Chester and St Martins Academy, Chester.
Maximising Learning through Outdoor Play
Here at Treetops Hopscotch we’re particularly proud of our huge open garden where children of all ages can explore and play. Children have direct access to the garden to exercise their choice to move freely and develop decision making and social-interaction skills.
We take a keen interest in nature and use outdoor play to introduce subjects like the weather and seasons. There are many benefits to learning outside of the classroom including development of healthy and active lifestyles and promoting a sense of well-being.
Our large garden is one of the features our parents and children love most.
We also teach children about animals and responsibility with our very own fluffy-eared friends, 2 rabbits called Dandelion and Burdock.
Children at Treetops Hopscotch get out and about in the community, enjoying walks and nature trails in country park opposite the nursery.
Andy from the Music Machine also regularly visits the nursery, providing fun music sessions with a choice of songs on his guitar and other instruments from around the world.
