The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

Food at Busy Bees at Preston Hospital

The fees you pay at our nursery in Preston include all meals, drinks, and snacks, which are freshly prepared on site each day by our talented nursery chef. The kitchen team do their utmost to keep mealtimes fun and exciting for the children at our Preston nursery – creating delicious and appealing meals to keep small appetites happy! Should your child require any special dietary measures, please contact one of the Centre Directors who will be happy to liaise with the kitchen team to find a delicious alternative.  

Below is an example of what you could expect your child to eat at Busy Bees Preston Hospital: 

Breakfast

Seasonal fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge. 

Morning Snack

Seasonal fresh fruit, wholemeal toast or other baked good, with a drink of either milk or water. 

Lunch

Garlic and herb chicken or Quorn, served with mashed potato and broccoli, followed by either ginger and pear loaf or lemon shortbread, with a drink of water. 

Afternoon Snack

Seasonal fresh fruit or vegetable sticks, with a drink of either milk or water. 

Early Evening Snack

A selection of sandwiches including salmon and cucumber, egg and tomato, or hummus and cucumber, followed by orange smiles, with a drink of water.
