My name is Amy and I am the covering Centre Director at Sandy. I have worked with Busy Bees since August 2014 and have enjoyed every moment. I count myself very lucky and fortunate to be working alongside a strong nursery team as we give each child in our care the very Best Start In Life. I have completed my Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management as well as a Level 5 Diploma in Operations and Departmental Manager.

I have experience teaching English as an Additional Language as well as Life and Natural sciences at Primary schools back in my home town of Johannesburg, South Africa. I loved my time teaching and led a year group as well as being Head of the English Department as I studied towards my Bachelors Degree in Senior Education. Moving into Early Years was a natural step and one I am very glad to have taken! Providing the foundation to future learning and successes is what I am passionate about. As a bonus, I am fortunate to lead a team who share this passion.
