And with our exclusive, expert-designed Bee Curious curriculum, they’ll engage with foundational concepts in literacy, numeracy, art and design, and more, readying them for the transition to full-time education. 

Our nursery in Southwell is divided into three separate rooms, each packed with age-appropriate toys, games, and books, meaning we can accommodate babies, toddlers, and preschoolers alike.

Parent Room
Our parent room is a dedicated safe space for us to get to know your family and you to speak in confidence with our nursery team about your child's nursery life.

Smart Board
Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 2 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Busy Bees at Southwell

Any fees paid to our nursery in Southwell are inclusive of meals, drinks and snacks, which are all prepared on-site, every day, by our talented nursery chef. Each meal is packed with all of the good stuff that your child needs to grow.

Our menus are NHS-accredited and feature a range of fruit, vegetables and other healthy ingredients.

If your child has any specific dietary requirements or food allergies, please speak to your Centre Director who will be able to offer alternative options for your child.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child. Preparing for School

In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Southwell are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

Whether you’re travelling by car or on public transport, our childcare in Southwell is a breeze to get to. 

Arriving via public transport? We’re conveniently located on Allenby Road, with the Vicarage Road bus stop less than a one-minute walk away. The bus stop is served by the 26, 28, 29 and N26 buses.

Arriving by car? We’ve got ample on-site parking, away from busy roads, making for smooth drop-offs and pick-ups.

"An amazing nursery. I search for ages to find somewhere i felt comfortable leaving my little one and instantly felt he would settle well here and be more than watched for a few hours but actually looked after and educated. Well done to the team for working so hard to achieve this lovely setting, especially after the uncertain year they have had. Every team member has always been smiling (i think! They have masks on at the moment) and is always welcoming and caring. Thank you!"
