In 2011 the nursery received a full internal refurbishment creating 3 base rooms that are brightly decorated with opportunities for all children to explore and investigate the lovely environment. All rooms open up onto the outdoor area which provides an extension of the children’s learning environment.
In March 2012 the nursery was recognised by the company as a Centre of excellence, a status devised by Busy Bees to represent the finest standards in childcare and catering. This is a real honour and shows the dedication and passion of the staff team.
The catering award recognises the exceptional food provided and also the opportunities to provide healthy options throughout the children’s time at nursery.

I am very happy with how George is supported in nursery he makes positive comments about his day and I think having a key worker to refer to has been very helpful. He often says that Sarah has helped him.
I transferred to Busy Bees St Andrews in August 2005 after joining the company in May 2005 as a Maternity Cover Manager.
I first qualified as a nursery nurse in 1995 when I gained my BTEC National Diploma. Since then I have gained a wealth of experience within different childcare settings from being a full time nanny caring for new born twins and also triplets. I have also managed a pre-school, after school club and a private day nursery.
Since joining the nursery in 2005 I have gained various qualifications and training including First Aid, First Aid at Work, Food Hygiene 2 & 3, Health & Safety and in September 2010 I completed my NVQ4 in Childcare.
I am always looking to further my own personal development and also that of my team, ensuring we access up to date training.
We are also proud to have successfully trained apprentices at the nursery who progress further with their training as they become full time members of staff.
I have a long serving senior management team who all have a minimum of 5 years’ service. Staff are highly motivated, enthusiastic and are dedicated to ensure a great learning environment is provided for all children. I am proud of my team who make a difference to the lives of the children they care for, providing them with new opportunities every day in a safe and stimulating environment.
Give me a call and I can arrange for you to come and visit our lovely nursery.
