Asha Kadchha

Hello, my name is Asha Kadchha and I am the Centre Director at Busy Bees Cambridge Westwick.

I strive to create a caring, nurturing environment that feels like a second home, where differences are accepted and individuality is celebrated. With more than a decade of experience in early childhood education, I have had the privilege of progressing from apprentice to Centre Director at Busy Bees Cambridge Westwick. The knowledge and experience I have gained along the way have fuelled my passion about supporting children’s learning and creating warm, engaging spaces where they can flourish.

Beyond my professional role, I treasure time with my family and my beautiful daughter, whose curiosity and joy remind me daily of the importance of providing children with the very best start in life.

I look forward to welcoming you and your child and sharing in the exciting first steps of their learning journey.

We are so pleased with Busy Bees Westwick and the wonderful care and learning our son has received over the years. He is now in preschool so has been there since the baby room. After visiting different nurseries, we knew from the moment we walked in that this was the right place for him. The rooms are lovely, with amazing vast outdoor space, and the staff are excellent - genuinely caring and supportive. We also love receiving regular photos and updates to see what he’s been learning and getting up to. We couldn’t recommend Busy Bees more highly.

It’s not a brand-new nursery and some of the facilities feel a little tired. However, it is a very well-organised, tidy, and clean nursery that working parents can rely on, providing a stable environment where my child has been able to settle well and learn new things every day. The variety of food (two courses for lunch and high tea) has helped my child develop good eating habits. I only wish I had known about this nursery earlier. Their forest school is also a fantastic resource for learning.

Our little boy loves going to pre school at Busy Bees. All the staff remember his name & are so friendly. The centre manager always checks in to see how we are doing & how our little boy is getting on. His speech & language has improved hugely. He loves going to nursery & has made a strong connection with his key worker. We are delighted with the variety of activities the children do & the care the staff show.

Curriculum and education

Giving your child the best start in life

Our Bee Curious curriculum is at the heart of everything we do, helping your child grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

Centred around your child's interests and pace, we combine purposeful play with a carefully designed curriculum that fosters curiosity and confidence. Bee Curious guides every moment in our nursery, from caring routines to planned activities, placing the unique child and their key person at the heart of learning. From encouraging independence at mealtimes, to supporting friendships in the playground, to celebrating every milestone with enthusiasm, our curriculum sparks a love of learning from the very beginning.

Using our 40 years of industry leading childcare experience, Bee Curious is a blueprint for playful learning. It is:

Developed by industry-leading experts and using over 40 years of global expertise

Based on the latest child behavioural science research and findings

Developed through collaboration with Busy Bees educators across the world

Led by Gill Jones MBE - Busy Bees Group Chief Quality Officer

Alongside structured learning, we encourage your child to express themselves freely and explore the world around them through creative and outdoor experiences that support every area of development. We do this by:

Using role play and storytelling to strengthen communication

Exploring art, music and movement

Learning outdoors in a safe, stimulating environment

Developing physical coordination and confidence

Our teams nurture your child's curiosity and confidence, preparing them not just for school, but for life. We do this by:

Early reading and writing through storytelling and mark-making activities.

Strong number sense through counting, patterns and problem-solving.

Hands-on, purposeful play to encourage critical thinking and curiosity.

Strengthening focus and listening skills with guided group learning sessions.

Understanding childcare funding and nursery fees can feel complicated. Our aim is to make the process as clear and straightforward as possible, helping you to find the right options for your family.
