Our nursery team at Busy Bees Ely are celebrating after receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating, following an Ofsted inspection on 21 July 2022.
This is the nursery’s third ‘Outstanding’ result. The Ofsted inspector commented that the “children flourish in this exceptional nursery” and they show “kindness and consideration for each other”. The nursery gained an ‘Outstanding’ in all areas, where it was also commented that children “become deeply engaged in the abundance of activities available to them”.
Ofsted praised the nursery’s partnership with parents, where it was commented that “parents are exceptionally positive about the management and staff team who are always approachable”, with parents feeling that they are “extremely well informed about their children’s learning and know how to support this at home”.
The staff at the nursery were recognised for “providing the best possible care and education for all children” with the staff “showing the utmost respect to children and each other”.
The staff were also praised for “providing an inspiring sequenced curriculum, building on what they know children can do and what they need to learn next” and as a result, “children are wonderfully engaged and focused on learning”.
Child inclusivity was also given a special mention as Ofsted highlighted that “children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are quickly identified and supported” and that detailed care plans allow the children to have “expert support”.

This result is a testament to the hard work of our passionate and dedicated team who are committed to giving every child the best start in life.
