A nursery in Chelmsford where ‘children develop a deep sense of belonging’ is celebrating its second ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted.
Busy Bees Chelmsford Springfield, located on Springfield Road, was recognised for ‘providing the highest quality care and education’ where children are ‘happy, confident and outgoing’.
The team was recognised for being ‘nurturing and dedicated to providing an environment where children are motivated, curious and exceedingly eager to learn’.
The report also noted that staff are ‘entirely familiar with the curriculum, which is tailored to individual children’s learning styles and interests’, with a particular focus on reading to actively promote ‘children’s language development and vocabulary’.
The nursery’s partnership with parents was given a special mention, with ‘resources offered to parents to support their children’s emotions at home’. In addition, parents are ‘actively involved in the nursery’s activities’.
Centre Director Natalie Breeze and her team were described as ‘highly skilled and experienced’ and ‘evaluate the nursery constantly to ensure they deliver an outstanding service to children and parents’.
Natalie said: “We are so happy with our Outstanding Ofsted result! The team has worked consistently to provide high-quality childcare and I am so proud of the team and all they have achieved. We are committed to giving every child the best start in life and our parent community plays a big part in that so it’s great this was noted in the Ofsted report.
“We look forward to building on our success even further and creating a positive environment for both our families and colleagues.”
Staff wellbeing was also noted in the report with staff feeling ‘extremely well supported’ and speaking ‘very highly of the support they receive from their manager and how she helps them to improve their practice’.
In addition, children including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make ‘exceptionally rapid progress in their learning’.
