Meet the team

Tracy Tomlinson

Nursery Manager

My Name is Tracy Leeves, I have worked in the childcare sector for over 20 years. I started working in a Primary School as a Classroom assistant and then become a Learning Support Assistant.
I then joined a Nursery as a Nursery Nurse and worked my way up the ladder to become a Nursery Manager. I hold a BTEC National diploma in Childcare and education and an NVQ level 4 in childcare and education. I have also completed Early Years Foundation Degree. I also hold a current first aid and food hygiene qualification.
Our main aim for the future is to achieve outstanding for our next OFSTED inspection, by making sure we maintain a good working relationship with our parents, meet each child’s individual needs when they join us at the nursery and create learning opportunities for all the children.
I have a wealth experience and have gained additional skills since opening this nursery in 2006, where we have grown into a vibrant nursery that is now recommended by the Local Authority. Our top priority at the nursery is to care and educate all the children, giving the children additional support when they need it.
I have an open door policy for parents to discuss any aspect of their nursery life. All our parent’s opinions and suggestions are taken into consideration as I am always trying to improve the quality of care we provide.
I have two children of my own and both the boys attended the nursery and now attend Primary and secondary school, so my spare time is spent with the boys, taking them to their clubs, weekend football matches or planned family days out.
