Welcome to Busy Bees at Bromsgrove, a nursery in the heart of Aston Fields Bromsgrove, located next to the train station and currently on a bus route, providing excellent transport links for the local community and parents and visitors that use the train.
The nursery also has two car parks, enabling parents to park their vehicles safely in front of the nursery entrance, ensuring that drop off and collection times are hassle free and safe at all times!
Once you take a step into our beautiful nursery, a team of caring, passionate, dedicated staff will greet you and your Child!
On entrance into the nursery, each visitor will always be greeted by one of our experienced management team.
We are proud to offer care for babies and young Children from 3 months to 5 years of age. A dedicated, well established key person system ensures that babies and children receive the emotional support they require when they first start nursery and as they progress from room to room (OFSTED 2014)
We are exceptionally fortunate to have amazing facilities, where our under two’s can access a stimulating room, specifically designed for providing our amazing black and white area, an enhancement designed to stimulate young babies brains, using the huge contrast in colour. Within this fantastic room of activity, the children are offered various sensory experiences, including having access to a shiny area, where the Children can begin to recognise themselves, as they see their reflection using a variety of specifically selected resources!
The Walkers Room, offers seven areas of learning with an under two’s outdoor area immediately outside. This ensures that the Children can have hours of enjoyment both within the indoor and outdoor environment. We don’t even have to worry about the wonderful British weather, as there is a canopy overhead, providing shelter, ensuring that the Children can access the outdoors whatever the weather!!
Our Toddler Room caters for Children over two, where a dedicated staff team provide play based learning opportunities, based around the needs and interest’s of the individual Children that attend.
Our Toddlers and Pre School Children have access to a separate, newly equipped outdoor area, where they can learn to negotiate space and develop their physical skills, as they ride around the purpose build track on a variety of scooters, tricycles and bikes!
The outdoors provides endless learning opportunities for the children and here at Busy Bees Bromsgrove, we understand the importance of outdoor learning and ensure that there a host of activities, across the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum, that are provided on a daily basis.
Outdoor activities can include wet and wild water play, planting seeds and vegetables, constructing within our unique construction area, exploring within the mud kitchen and developing skills and muscles as the Children climb steps up to the purpose built climbing frame and have fun zooming down the slide!
Our dedicated pre school team are proud to encourage and provide educational experiences to our Children over three years of age.
Within the pre school room, we have an interactive whiteboard and computer, enabling the Children to develop an interest in early ICT, as well as providing challenging experiences across the seven areas of learning.
We believe that the educational experiences provided at Busy Bees, aim to encourage the Children to be secure in their learning and become happy, independent and confident Children, who will enter their primary schools with the skills necessary to continue to make progress in all areas of development. Educational programmes provide interesting and challenging experiences that help Children to make good progress towards the early learning goals. (OFSTED 2014)
