Director

Michelle Parker

Hello, I am Michelle Parker, the Centre Director of Busy Bees Cardiff Gate.

I have had the privilege of working with children for almost 20 years and during this time have held many posts which include running my own child-minding service. I am the mum of three grown up children and have a 6-year-old granddaughter, who I spend as much time with as possible.

I currently hold a Level 5 qualification in childcare and management, Level 3 play work and a speech language qualification.

I am passionate about the learning environment and child led play, it is the team's desire to provide a home from home for all our children at the nursery and to have close working relationships with our parents to make sure the children in our care get the best start in life at Busy Bees.

Meet the amazing team

What
Cardiff Gate
parents say

supportive nursery with excellent and caring staff

Person-centred and bespoke care from friendly, expert staff. We have excellent communication digitally and in-person about our little one and he has formed great bonds with the practitioners in his room, as well as with his key worker. He is safe, happy and developing well in their care. We couldn’t be happier with his start at nursery.

Our daughter loves her days at Busy Bees. We are so pleased with the care and attention given to her. There are always different play activities for her to get involved with and help with her development. I'd recommend Busy Bees to anyone and am so grateful to the wonderful staff at Cardiff Gate.
