Since attending the nursery from April to December 2014, our daughter Lily has completely come out of her shell and developed so well under your guidance and teaching - Kamran
it was a relief knowing we were leaving our son with a management and staff team that provide a high level of care, emotional warmth and nurture to our son
We wanted to say a very big thank you to you and all the staff, both past and present for the care, time and patience that you've shown Ruby over the years that she has been at nursery
Everything was done with a good heart, honesty and passion. We felt part of the Busy Bees family from the get go. - Kamran
Without Busy Bees, she would not have got to this magnificent stage so quickly and efficiently. She is a completely different child that we are truly proud of - Kamran
Busy Bees Day Nursery in Chingford is a large, purpose built nursery situated close to the local amenities and is within easy reach of both Chingford and Highams Park Stations.
The nursery has rooms appropriate for each age group, which provide a homely atmosphere for all the children. The rooms are bright and stimulating with a wide range of resources available both inside and out.
Each room has access to individual garden areas where the children have the opportunities to free flow the inside and outside environment at key times throughout each day.
The children are provided with many learning opportunities throughout all the age groups. Experienced and qualified staff caters for all our children’s individual needs and interests. Each child is assigned a key person who carefully observes, plans and assesses their development and keeps records of their personal learning.
Rebecca the Chef and Tanya her assistant provide delicious home cooked food which is nutritionally balanced and healthy. We have a three week rolling menu which takes advantage of fresh, seasonal produce and allows our children to experience a wide variety of tastes, textures, flavours and colours within their meals. We are also fully equipped to provide food for children with allergies or intolerances as well as cultural preferences. We will always provide a vegetarian option to meat dishes and Halal meat and poultry is offered to those that require it.
The staff here at Chingford are dedicated, hard-working, skilled and most of all passionate about their roles, the children and the parents. All staff are either NNEB, CACHE & NVQ level 3 trained or working towards it.
The nursery has a Parent Partnership Group (PPG) that can be contacted via email, if you would like to ask any questions or advice. The group consists of parents whose children already attend the nursery and are happy to give support when leaving your children for the first time or even when making a transition up to the next age group. Please feel free to use this service if you have any questions or would like feedback on the service that we provide.
Over the past few years we have successfully implemented many of the Busy Bees initiatives which are created by our Head office Childcare team. Each initiative has its own design to aid the children to succeed and enjoy many areas of learning and development. The initiatives include an Interactive Smart Board for the Foxes Room (Pre-school), Grow Your Own, Cooking with Me, Wake and Shake and Babble to Chatter! At the Chingford Nursery we offer an extra-curricular activity for the Pre-school children which are Premier Football, where the children learn to be healthy, exercise and learn too!
We are very passionate at providing the best possible start for children and their families and getting involved in the community. If you would like your child to experience a happy, safe and stimulating environment, please arrange an appointment to come and visit the nursery and see for yourself what a great nursery it really is.
