Upon stepping through the doors, it’s clear to see why both parents and children love Busy Bees nursery in Chingford. With endless stimulating resources, exciting areas, and friendly and supportive staff, we are certain your child will flourish while in a happy, healthy, and safe nursery setting.

At our Chingford nursery, we encourage children to actively learn through play, allowing them to develop their skills while having fun. To best prepare your little ones, our nursery team prepares a wide variety of activities and play stations that are in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.  

We believe that every child’s development matters, so have multiple nursery rooms which are each tailored to different age ranges, from babies through to pre-schoolers. Our fantastic sensory room is filled with stimulating materials from lights and music to bubbles and monochrome, meanwhile pre-school age children can explore animals, numbers, and phonics.

Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 2 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Busy Bees Chingford

The fees you pay are inclusive of all meals drinks, and snacks, which are prepared on site by our nursery chef daily. Our kitchen team is constantly thinking of inventive ways to ensure our little ones are eating the right things to support their overall health and well-being.

Our NHS-accredited seasonal menus aim to cater to everyone, but if your child has any specific allergies or dietary requirements then please contact the Centre Director who will be happy to discuss other safe and delicious options.

Breakfast

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge.

Morning Snack

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods, served with a drink of milk or water.

Lunch

Cream cheese pinwheel followed by beef or turkey mince with new potatoes and broccoli. (Vegetarian option also available). Served with a drink of water.

Afternoon Snack

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks, served with a drink of milk or water.

Early Evening Snack

Salmon or egg crunch wrap served with carrot sticks, followed by fresh fruit salad with vanilla natural yogurt. Served with a drink of water.

If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child. In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Chingford are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.
