Say hello to Bee Curious, our exciting new curriculum! It fosters a love of learning, giving your child a head start in life.
Here, at Busy Bees Dorking Chichester Road, we want the very best for your child. We take a nurturing approach to learning and development, which we believe gives children a great start during those critical early years.
You might have known our nursery as 'Major Minors Dorking' before it became part of the Busy Bees family. It features three spacious rooms: Bombo's Room for babies, Bumble's Room for toddlers and Buzz's Room for pre-schoolers. These separate spaces allow the kids to learn about the world around them and build up their confidence at a pace that suits them.
No two days are ever the same thanks to our team, who're continually developing new activities, and educational toys and equipment. The children can play dress-up with our costume rack, learn about animals at our farmyard table, take a little quiet time to read their favourite stories and lots more.
Our Dorking nursery school also has access to outdoor space, so the kids can get out and have fun in the fresh air. Slides, climbing frames and ride-on cars allow them to learn about taking safe risks under the supervision of our nursery staff. The Music Area, meanwhile, introduces them to maracas, glockenspiels and xylophones.
You'll always be able to keep up to date with your child's progress with our ParentZone app. Our UP app provides great learning resources for you to use at home.

"If it wasn’t for the distance from my home and having to commute to London now, I would keep my daughter at Busy Bees Dorking Chichester Road. We have had a fantastic experience. Kim and the team are so accommodating and my daughter has developed amazingly quickly since starting with them. She loves going to nursery! The team are doing a great job, thank you and we will miss you all!"
"My son has benefitted from an excellent key worker. Communication from staff is good and my son has had a positive experience since he started and appears to enjoy attending. The venue itself benefits from a large garden and this has been great for my son. There could be improvements in the way in which transition to each room is managed with a more planned and strategic approach to this with parents fully informed around this. It has been a little ad hoc and random and i have not always felt fully informed. We would also benefit from a 'who's who' board to help ensure we know who all the staff are as it can be daunting when new faces appear who are not always introduced. Management are always receptive and welcoming when approached but maybe could be more proactively visible to parents on a day to day basis to help me feel reassured that there is strong management oversight. This may be the case but its not easy to get a sense of this. Thank you for all you do as in general I am happy with the service provided for my son and feel he is thriving. "
"Staff are absolutely friendly. Teaching and looking after child is perfectly done."
"Lovely people at the nursery. My daughter enjoys going there. Her development is coming on really well."
"Nice and consistent staffing. Great garden. Good manager with excellent communication."
