Why You Will Love Our Nursery

Caring Daycare in Dorking is located on Westcott Road and is easily accessible for parents travelling into Dorking from the west. The nursery occupies a traditional detached property which has been specifically adapted to nursery care. The rooms are of a good size but retain their homely feel which the children really love.

Babies and toddlers use rooms on the ground floor with a large conservatory. The older children have a variety of rooms on the first floor, all the rooms in the nursery are light and airy and provide a wide range of high quality resources for the children’s learning and play.

The garden has a variety of areas including climbing frames, digging areas, playhouses, vegetable garden, sand box and bicycle paths. The garden is also used for creative painting, story time and picnics in the summer.

Meet the Team

Nursery Manager

My name is Tina Oliver and I am the Manager here at Caring Daycare Dorking. I have worked here at Dorking since November 2005 first as a Nursery Nurse- 3rd in Charge- Deputy Manager and was promoted to Manager in March 2013.

I qualified to NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Education in Jan 1996 and then went on to qualify to NVQ level 3 in October 1999. Since then I have gained a wealth of experience within different settings.

Since joining Caring Daycare Dorking I have gained various qualifications and training including First Aid, First Aid At Work, Food Hygiene level 2, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Safeguarding Module 1 + 2 and Child behaviour among others.

I have developed a strong partnership with our families here at the Nursery Setting.
I love my job- every day is different and being part of the children’s growth and development is a real pleasure and very rewarding.
