Established in 1995, and recently acquired by Treetops, Fitzsimmons Place Nursery is set in a delightful Victorian house within 1.5 acres of beautiful grounds. The nursery provides Guildford and the surrounding areas with day-care and preschool education to the highest standard.
Located within a 10 minute walk of Guildford High Street and mainline station, we are open all year round apart from Bank Holidays and Christmas week, and offer full day care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Our Nursery is set over four floors providing plenty of space; together with our facilities which includes a large indoor play hall, generous playground and extensive gardens including our very own onsite Forest School for the children to play in and explore, Fitzsimmons Place Nursery makes for a magical place to grow, develop and learn!
Here at Fitzsimmons we endeavor to provide childcare that not only meets the expectations you have for your child but that also fits with your busy lifestyle. Parents leave in the knowledge that the excellent quality of care given during a nursery day is as close to their own, provided in a friendly, happy and homely environment with an emphasis on learning through play.
With each age group having their own space shared across four floors it allows us to provide children with a wonderland in which to grow and have fun!
We understand that life can be a juggling act and hope that our hours of 7.30am to 6.30pm will provide the flexibility that is sometimes needed! Whether you are looking for full time day care or simply a few sessions a week, we can offer childcare that works in the best way for you.

Our Forest School :
The philosophy behind the FPN Forest School is to encourage and inspire young children of any age through positive out door experiences.
Children are given the opportunity to learn about their natural environment, how to handle risks and most importantly how to use their own initiative to solve outdoor problems and obstacles and to co-operate with others. We are open 51 weeks of the year and expect the children to visit the Forest School every day whatever the weather (except high winds) and to take part in all sorts of exciting activities exploring and experiencing the natural world and learning about the seasons and environmental changes.
The FPN Forest School is run by Charlotte Taylor a fully accredited FSE team leader.
