Glasgow Oakwood, situated three miles south of the city, is made up of two buildings; Oak Cottage as a purpose-built facility for children aged 0 to 3, designed to support children at each age and stage of their development, and the Pre-School Centre, housed in a large Victorian villa and is home to children aged 3-5 to challenge children and prepare them for school. Oakwood nursery also provides after school care for children aged 5 to 12 years old.
The rooms are bright, airy and alluring. The garden is spacious and exciting developing children's confidence, self-esteem and physical skills allowing children to expand their love of the outdoors. The team have worked hard to create an environment which facilitates a high standard of care and education, through high quality learning experiences which ensure children are eager learners fully equipped for their school adventures.

We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

The fees you pay at our nursery in Glasgow include all meals, drinks, and snacks, which are freshly prepared on site each day by our talented nursery chef. The kitchen team do their utmost to keep mealtimes fun and exciting for the children at our Glasgow nursery – creating delicious and appealing meals to keep small appetites happy! Should your child require any special dietary measures, please contact the Centre Director who will be happy to liaise with the kitchen team to find a delicious alternative.

Seasonal fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge.
Seasonal fresh fruit, wholemeal toast or other baked good, with a drink of either milk or water.
Garlic and herb chicken or Quorn, served with mashed potato and broccoli, followed by either ginger and pear loaf or lemon shortbread, with a drink of water.
Seasonal fresh fruit or vegetable sticks, with a drink of either milk or water.
Early Evening Snack
A selection of sandwiches including salmon and cucumber, egg and tomato, or hummus and cucumber, followed by orange smiles, with a drink of water.

Our Glasgow Oakwood day nursery boasts an impressive outdoor area with multiple areas and equipment which are suited to a variety of different age groups. At Busy Bees Glasgow Oakwood, we believe in an open and transparent approach to nursery fees. Wherever possible, we offer various booking patterns for parents who require flexible childcare to fit around their working hours.
