Why You Will Love Our Nursery

Located on Gill Avenue opposite the Royal Surrey County Hospital, and on the way to the Guildford Science Park the nursery is convenient for parents working on the west side of the town. The nursery has close links with the hospital and is the preferred nursery for hospital employees.

The nursery has been extended over a number of years and incorporates a range of buildings, the latest additions being purpose built child care buildings. This gives the nursery light airy rooms with great character equipped and designed from the child’s perspective. There are also dedicated sleep rooms for the youngest babies.

Outside each age group has it’s own dedicated garden area where there are further stimulating resources for learning and play in the fresh air. This includes sand boxes, vegetable gardens, dens and balancing beams.

The nursery has Closed Circuit Television in all the key childcare rooms, entrance halls and garden. This enables the Nursery Manager to observe childcare practice and provide for training purposes. It is also reassuring for new parents to see their children settling into nursery without being in the room.

Caring Daycare Guildford is one of the best located nurseries in Guildford and the team strive to give every child the very best care and education.

Meet the Team

Julie Ragless

Nursery Manager

Hi my name is Julie Ragless and I have worked at Guildford nursery since 2011.

I began my career working in childcare in 1997 starting as a childcare assistant and working my way up to Deputy Manager and then Manager at pre -school. In 2011 I joined Caring Daycare in the baby room, and soon became room leader.Since this time I have worked in all the base rooms before being promoted to Assistant Manager, and now Manager.

I feel privileged to work with an experienced team, that are long serving and passionate about creating a caring environment.
