Meet the Team
Rebecca Wall & Kimberley Hudson
Hello, my name is Rebecca and I work opposite Kimberley, managing the nursery on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I have been a manager with Busy Bees for 11 years and hold a level 4 qualification in Early Years and a degree in Business Management. Before I was manager at Guiseley, I worked at our Leeds Colton Mill site as a Business Manager for 7 years. I am also qualified as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, a Paediatric First Aider and First Aider at Work and hold certificates for Food Hygiene and SEN work.
I have always been passionate about my job. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing children achieve and grow as they develop their own little personalities. I like to ensure that this is at the forefront of what I do and that this passion can be embedded into the strong staff team that we have here at Guiseley. Together we ensure that the children are highly cared for and given as many learning opportunities as possible.
I also believe in strong parent partnerships to ensure the best outcomes for our little ones both at home and at nursery.
I have two children of my own, a girl now in year two at Primary School (who used to attend here) and a toddler boy, who currently attends this nursery.
Kim and I work well as a team to ensure the best possible care and outcomes for all the children here at Guiseley.

Hi, We are the Sunflowers team! We support the eldest children of the nursery with their transition to school, following a Preschool Project every Summer. We know how important it is to help support children with their 'school readiness', from being able to dress themselves and learning to use the toilet without assistance,to a good understanding of the values of sharing and turn taking. We focus on these plus the educational elements of the curriculum to ensure the best start for every child.
Katie, Alison and Lindsey
Hello, we are the Daffodils team and we look after the toddlers, supporting them with their emerging physical development, communication and language and personal, social and emotional development. We ensure the children feel secure here in all senses. Our troop love the outdoors and everything we do indoors we like to take outside too. We have direct access to the garden and so this makes free flow playtime easy and fun, allowing the children choice about where as well as how to play

Hello, we are the Tulips team and we support two to two and a half year olds each day. Tulip's children are a creative bunch and love to make a mess! We enjoy supporting them with the fine motor skills and communication by providing them with many different play opportunities in the water, sand, dough, gloop, baking, chalking, sticking and gluing, construction and role play to name but a few ! They also love stories and songs and have favourite rhymes that we sing using props and puppets.

Hey there, we are the Crocus team and we support the 2-3 age group. We encourage the children's physical, personal and social and communication and language development through our daily planned activities as well as introducing maths, art, knowledge of the world and science to their play. We love the outdoors and exploring the children's imaginations following their interests. You will also find us singing and dancing a lot as the children find this so much fun, it keeps us all happy and fit!
