Meet the team
Rebecca or Kimberley
Hello, my name is Rebecca and I am one of the Centre Directors here. I have two children of my own and work part time, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Kimberley is Centre Director on Mondays and Tuesdays and Assistant Centre Director Wednesdays to Fridays.
I have been a Manager with Busy Bees since 2006 and hold a level 4 qualification in Early Years and an honours degree in Business Management. Before I was Nursery Manager at Guiseley, I was based at our Leeds Colton Mill Busy Bees Nursery as a Business Manager for 7 years. I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the setting, a Paediatric First Aider and First Aider at Work and have other professional training such as in SEND work, Safeguarding Children and Catering-related training such as Food Hygiene.
I have always been both passionate and fascinated by Early Years and Child Development. There is nothing more rewarding for me than seeing young children learn, grow and achieve and develop their own little personalities. I like to ensure that this is at the forefront of what I do and that this passion can be embedded into the strong staff team that we have here at Guiseley. Together, we ensure that the children are highly cared for and given a high quality variety of learning opportunities every day, suiting both their interests and development needs. We always want the best start in life for all of our children.
As I mentioned above, I have two children of my own; a girl, now at Primary School and a boy, who currently attends this nursery.
Kim and I work well as a team to ensure the best possible care and outcomes for all the children here at Guiseley.

Hello, I'm Emily and I have cared for children at Busy Bees Guiseley since March 2015. I hold a level 6 BA (hons) degree in Early Childhood Studies. I oversee the Preschool unit. I particularly love helping the children prepare for their transition to school and we have a very successful annual preschool project in place that we feel gives them all the 'tools' they need to start school confidently and at their personal bests. Feel free to come take a look at what we do anytime.
Sandra is our fantastic chef, She holds a level 3 qualification in Food Safety and Hygiene for Supervisors.
Her own daughters attended Busy Bees and are not at school. Sandra has worked with us since 2013.
Sandra produces fine home cooked nutritionally balanced meals and snacks on a rotating 6 week menu and has high experience of dealing with allergens and cultural preferences.
She is also happy to discuss nursery food and weaning with parents and answer any food related queries.
Hello, we are the Bombo's (room 3) team and we look after the toddlers, supporting them with their emerging physical development, communication and language and personal, social and emotional development. We ensure the children feel secure here in all senses. Our troop love the outdoors and everything we do indoors we like to take outside too. We have direct access to the garden and so this makes free flow playtime easy and fun, allowing the children choice about where as well as how to play
