Why You Will Love Our Nursery

Busy Bees in Ipswich provides GOOD childcare, as reported by Ofsted, (2013)

At Busy Bees at Ipswich Pinewood we are a purpose built nursery which offers 6 warm nurturing and comforting baby rooms for children aged 0-2years. There are 2 bright stimulating 2-3 aged rooms which both lead directly out into a large secure garden area. Our preschool area contains 2 rooms which are set up with our children in mind, 1 room is set up with messy play including sand, water, paint, creative modelling and gloop, there is also a science and investigation area as well as a music area. The 2nd room has a large home corner, cosy corner and block area, this room also leads directly out into the garden area.

We are situated in a housing estate just a short distance room the A14/A12 Copdock interchange roundabout next to Tesco’s. We are also very local to the town centre. We have our own private car park which makes dropping off and picking up your children stress free.

The nursery is open 7.30am and closes at 6.00pm, we have a morning session which runs between 7.30am and finishes at 12.30pm and an afternoon session which runs from 1pm until 6pm. We also offer Free entitlement sessions for children the term after their third birthday.

Our caring, qualified and enthusiastic staff strives to ensure each individual child is happy, well cared for and supported in moving forward in their learning. We are very proud here at Pinewood to say that over 70% off our staff have been working here for 5 years plus. 90% off our staff our qualified to level 3. The staff work closely with parents to build on parent partner relationships from the first settling in sessions to their child’s last day at nursery where tissues are at the ready.

Meet the Team

Nursery Manager

Nursery Manager Louise Rhodes

I have been the manager here at Ipswich Pinewood for 7 years and I have recently returned from adoption leave.

I have 20 years childcare experience, 13 of these being in a managerial position. I am very dedicated to making sure Ipswich Pinewood offers the highest level of childcare and making sure the environment is nurturing and stimulating.

I am very proud of our nursery and I lead and inspire my team to work their very hardest to achieve excellent results and offer the highest quality childcare for the children we care for everyday.

Now I am a mum it is made me understand more, how important it is to know that your child is being cared for to the highest standard.

I am qualified to Level 4 in Care, Learning and Development and also hold an advanced apprenticeship in management.

At the weekends I like to spend time with my little lady, playing in the garden, going to local parks and enjoying lots of messy play activities!

Piglets Room
Room Team

Pauline, Mandy and Chantelle work together in the baby room. We all find working with the babies very rewarding, to be able to help with their development stages and to see them grow with confidence. Our Busy Babies room is a fantastic way of enhancing the babies learning to stimulate their minds and making them feel comforted and relaxed in the lilac area.

Welcome to 2-3's, we have 2 rooms Tiggers and Eeyores. We love to be in the garden exploring the environment. We often go on bug hunts searching for different bugs. Tiggers made muffin pizzas earlier this year which they really enjoyed choosing and tasting the different ingredients to put on top of their pizza's. Every week we have a cooking group where we make lots of yummy healthy food to take home to share.
